We know everyone is crazy busy with the holidays, but we wanted to drop in with some news: We have a new book next year! And In a Holidaze starts shooting with Netflix next month!
Our next book is… The Romance Revival!
We had the idea for this story last year while together in Australia, and I’m not kidding when I say we felt possessed. We frantically outlined the whole thing in a hotel bar (very Christina Lauren of us), and are so proud of what it’s become. A marriage in trouble. Angst. Yearning. A hot landscaper. Steam. Laughs. And omg FUN. We can’t wait for you to meet Emery and Luca, and the whole Romance Revival gang in July. Want a secret? Our working title was The Necromantics–we even hired an artist to design a cover–but alas! Publishing and retailers had other plans. *pours one out for The Necromantics* Maybe one day we’ll see it on a special edition, but until then, if you hear us call it that somewhere, that’s why. Now let me stop gossiping and get to the official summary!
Three years ago, Emery Finch did something completely out of character: She got married. If you follow us on Insta, you probably saw that it’s official: the fantastic collaboration with Alloy Entertainment, Netflix and our INCREDIBLE screenwriter/director Tiffany Paulsen is a go!! Plus, we’ve locked down the cast of our dreams, including Maddie Ziegler, Graham Phillips, Elias Kacavas, and ROB FREAKING LOWE. The script is perfection, shooting begins in January, and we are over the moon. Maisie, Mandrew, and our beloved Uncle Benny are coming home to us, guys!!
