Tangled Up in You coming June 25, 2024!!

Let us set the stage. It’s early 2014, and Beautiful Player has been released a few months before—with a hero, Will Sumner, who was inspired in part by the charisma and charm of Flynn Rider from the Disney movie Tangled.

We had so much fun writing Will and and as soon as we were done, we realized we wanted to write a truly Tangled-inspired book. We called our agent, Holly Root, and said “if Disney ever has a Tangled project that would work for our voice, please knock on our door first?” She promised she would tell us if she heard of anything like this.

Fast forward to 2016 or 2017, and Holly tells us about the Meant to Be series and that Disney wanted us for Tangled as much as WE wanted us for Tangled. We met our Disney editor Jocelyn Davies and could not believe we were going to get to do this thing we had wanted for SO LONG. It took a few years for us to land on the story that felt worthy of the source but guys, WE DID.

Now, almost exactly ten years after we first begged to take on Tangled, we will be releasing TANGLED UP IN YOU, a contemporary romance retelling of Tangled, and WE LOVE IT! Truly, top 5 CLo. Maybe Top 3. It’s joyful and sexy and fun and playful and EVERYTHING and we are so proud of it. Thank you to @zoraidasolo for making the announcement, we are so proud to follow Kiss the Girl, truly one of our favorite books of 2023!
